Open Studios and Reading, Saturday, August 24, 6-8pm Interactive installation by resident artist Megan Pitcher - - Pitcher is a visual and performance artist who ruptures social conventions to inspire the physical agency of the viewer. She dedicates time and space for movement re-education and highlights the subtleties of resistance and agreement.   Her development process is very inclusive of the communities that she serves and for that reason, she is excited to share her work-in-progress with you.   Come see and interact with a new movement and media installation building on ideas from a previous work, titled Always There .   Pitcher is also interested in visits by appointment on Friday, August 23th from 6-8pm and Sunday, August 25th from 7-8pm.    Open Studios with resident artists Maria Dimanshtein , Megan Ewert , Silvia Lerin , Carrie Lingscheit ,  Sarah Nesbit and Susanne Nestory.
